2011 Health Update

It was a long year with a number of bronchial/asthma things. I started the year by accidently getting into shrimp and having an allergic reaction - I now carry Epi Pens!!!! After not feeling well all Fall and gaining weight, the year ended with the discovery of a 22 lb tumor on my ovary. I had surgery on 12/14 to have it removed and the BEST news of all was there was NO cancer!!!! I'm now down 30 lbs and recovering well. I worked part time the last couple weeks and plan to return full time this week (1/16). I really appreciate all the prayers and support through a rough time. I'm now feeling good and looking forward to a healthy 2012!!!!

Pippin Fall 2011

Pippin is growing every day. He's not getting much taller but filling out beautifully. He has a wonderful soft coat and a great personality!

Logan's Full Name

Just talked to daddy Jesse. The full name is Logan Jesse James Hackney. All are doing well!!!

Baby Logan Hackney

Bob's 10th Great Grandbaby Logan was born to Jesse (Susie's son) and Susan on July 29th. Baby Logan was 5 pounds 14 ounces 19 1/2 inches long. All are at home and doing well.

My new puppy Pippin is a GROWING Boy. He gained 6.5 lbs in the last two weeks. He obvously is part St. Bernard but who know what else. He was found here in then neighborhood.

Last Friday 5/27, the
hummingbirds
started swarming
my feeders. I've put
26 cups of food in
from last Sunday
5/29 until this AM
Sat. 6/4. I had 5 feeders up and I increased to 8
so I wouldn't have to fill them EVERY day.

Snow Snow Go Away

We've now had MORE snow than in any year since I've moved to Tennessee. It's beautiful, but I've been snowed in for two days (this time) and two days last month. I'm ready for SPRING!!!

Abigail Grace Hackney

On December 23, our Christmas Angel, Bob's Great grandchild #9, was born to grandson Bob and wife Ashley. She was truly our Christmas Angel.

Thanksgiving 2010

I had a great Thanksgiving at Bob's grandson Jim and wife Carrie's house in Greenville. The highlight was getting to spend time with new great grandson Walt. I also got to spend time with best friend Libby and her family, and visit with Aunts Barb and Pat and cousins.
